All you Crew-Cab Guys.............
Not mine, and not for sale, as far as I know ..........................
Even though it's a "Brand X PoS" I saw this one sitting by the roadside on a little-travelled side street today, so I threw-on the brakes & backed up & snapped a picture. With all the Forum interest in Crew-Cabs, I thought this one might give somebody an idea or two. Dont' really know my Furds all that well, but I'm guessing it to be a '64-'65, maybe ??? Looks (from the street) to be a pretty-good 4-door type conversion/stretch, and seems to be in decent shape. I don't ever remember seeing this one being driven around here, so it's been sitting for a while. Last edited by 68shortstep; 02-28-2007 at 07:22 PM. Reason: Forgot to post photo with thread |

Re: All you Crew-Cab Guys.............
If I'm not mistaken, that is a factory crew, there are a few old crewcab Fords cruising around here.... I think Chev/GM was the only one of the big three that didn't produce a crewcab in the late 60's-early 70's.

Re: All you Crew-Cab Guys.............
without seeing the grill, I think it's a 71 or 72. (agree 100% as the model span, 67 - 72)
IMO, one of the best looking ford trucks out there, total bummer they rusted up worse than our trucks... even worse than the 73 - 87 ones. Real crappy front suspention too. Otherwise, a tough old truck. |
