Re: help with vacuum hose routing...
I had/have the exact same motor/trans/carb. If you mean PCV, vac. advance, etc. I can help some. I routed PCV from the port at the rear base of the carb. Vac. advance goes to the line that is on the pass. side of just above the base. (circled) I ran my trans. modulator line to the port in between the carb and dizzy. Here is a pic for reference, and I hope this helps you out.

Re: help with vacuum hose routing...
yeah that helps...there are a few more lines I need to know about...I have a small modulator on the left side of the engine with two lines coming out of it...I have no idea what this does...I checked the FAQ section...surely someone has the emissions diagrams on here somewhere...that would be a good FAQ to put together...the diagrams for each year and engine trans configuration...I know there are alot of them...but that would be a good resource for the ones that are trying to fix up old trucks that have lost everything off of them... thanks for your help....I know the pcv and dizzy advance are the most important...we'll see what happens..I'm still hoping for that diagram though...lol

Re: help with vacuum hose routing...
My 71 Service Manual has a different Emissions Diagram from your 70. Your 70 had the TCS setup on it and my diagram does not show the TCS. You need someone with a 70 manual to look it up.
