Chicken or the egg?
I just picked this 72 Cheyenne Super 4x4 SWB yesterday in Arizona. I have a paint question regarding the factory two tone application. The trucks cab, doors and front fenders look like the Dark Olive was painted over White. The bed however looks like White was painted over the Dark Olive. Was this how it was done? Need the info for repaint. Thanks.

my longhorn had the gold paint with a white roof, and it was gold over white.

I have a gold/ white 70 all original paint, white on top and bottom. The cab has gold overspray on the white. But the bed has white overspray on the gold.

Re: Chicken or the egg?
I had to pay up for it, but it was worth it as I've been looking for it for 5 years. Needs some work but who cares. Can't wait to get started on it.
