anybody know how much a 2wd, half ton '72 suburban weighs? Or where I could find out?

Not sure, I think around 4,200 lbs. You could take it to a weighing station and have it weighed.

I JUST TOOK MY 71 BLAZER TO THE DUMP, & IT WEIGHED 5400 LBS COMING OUT, WITH ALMOST A FULL TANK OF GAS, & ME.

5400 lbs! i guess i'm gonna have to get a big block. i'm trying to get this thing to run upper 12's to low 13's.
