Salvage Yard Pictures- Part 1

-
I took these pictures two or three weeks ago at a salvage yard two miles from me. I didn't post them because the owner of the yard didn't want to sell anything at that time. He and I get along pretty good and I got a call from him early this morning, so I decided to go ahead and post them. Tomorrow night you get "The Rest Of The Story" in Salvage Yard Pictures- Part 2

What white 1ton would look pretty sweet if it was restored with a dump bed.

Not to sound like an idiot, but is that a 409? Or is it a 348? Or am I just a MO-ron?

I need a Posi rear-end.

Is your guy near Gowrie, IA?

Put me in line for that one if it is for sale. Seriously, if the price is fair & it is as solid as it looks- I'll be on my way. Maybe the orange hood in your last set of pics too.

Re: Salvage Yard Pictures- Part 1

That is an awesome find. I like the big blue truck (C-50?)! Too bad it is too far for me to drive. That green cab in the first pictures looks pristine. I see a bidding war developing for that jewel!

305 or 351 V6.

Man, did you...... die? cause that sure looks pearly to me!

Gotta say, that salvage yard looks a LOT better than mine for 67-72 stuff.
edit: I'm talking about the salvage yard I work at, not my driveway
