I am looking for a company that makes bolt in bucket seats or, at least brackets to allow you to bolt in popular high-back buckets (C5 Corvette, etc). Does anyone know of such a company???

Check the ricer companies like APC and Sparco. I think they might offer a bracket for our trucks. It's not hard to make one if you have the tools. Otherwise, you could make a template of what you want and find a guy who welds to make you some for about $50.

With the way the floor in these trucks lays flat or nearly so you can mount just about any seat with brackets made with a hacksaw and drill.

I saw a while back that the JC Whitney catalog has buckets that are supposedly a perfect fit to our truck OR come with adapter brackets.

Just a word of caution. I have a 69 SWB Fleetside and am doing my interior now. I discovered "AFTER" I picked up my 1st set of high back buckets (Captain's chairs out of a conversion van), that unless they're in the full upright position, the headrest touches the window/back wall and it's still too close to the steering wheel and foot pedals. I'm now looking for something with a lower back or is conformed more to the cab.

I'm sure others have had this experience as well.

How are the seats out of a 2000 chevy single cab (or similar) fitting in these? To high / low or to close?
