has anyone painted there 72 egg crate grill black with a chrome bowtie in the center?? if so can i see a picture please

i think it would stand out and give it good contrast aginst the paint and outer grill.... do it.

I got about $60.00 in paint and primer on mine, but it should last for many years.

I don't have a 71-72, but I can tell you the first thing I do when I get a new truck is black out the grill...been doing that since the 70's.
