Re: Have you guys seen many of these?

I have never heard of that. I didn't know it existed. I could do that to my '86, and it would match the coupe.

Re: Have you guys seen many of these?

I had known that the 1973-1987 trucks were pace trucks but I thought that they were white?

Re: Have you guys seen many of these?

They weren't all white. The newest picture I had seen was of an 85. Good find.

If the truck on Ebay is original, it is extremely rare. (Like probably one of 50 or so).

Here's a GMC ad from my site that has pictures of a few more:

Re: Have you guys seen many of these?

I saw that truck surfin eBay the other day too. I am surprised nobody has bid on it yet. I do like it, but even for me, that yellow is a bit much...perhaps the black grill has something to do with it.

Re: Have you guys seen many of these?

Don't hang me cause it isn't GM, but here is another pace truck I stumbled across. I actually like it, and I think the paintjob is cooler.

Re: Have you guys seen many of these?

There is one of the Indy Fords rolling around my town. It's all faded but you can tell it matched the Indy Mustangs from 79.
