GMC Owners Manual
I found my owners manual and thought I would scan a few pages for fun. I also have the GMC repair manual which is pretty well worn. Here are some samples. My dad made lots of notes in these manuals (with a fountain pen, no less) It would be fun but hard work to put it all on line. Whata you guys think?

Re: GMC Owners Manual
Thanks Woodrow59. I love that site. I found it when I was looking for info on my Rochester 2-Jet (which I think is a Chevy application and not the original GMC carb). I almost posted some question regarding the carb, but will wait for another time. I will have to dedicate some serous time to do this, the owners manual is 50 pages and the repair manual (complete with wiring diagrams) is over 500 pages. My computer is an older P3-500 and editing photos and scans kill me.
I just wanted to know if anyone cares about this sort of thing. It seems to me that this forum has such a "customized" emphasis that this type of info is long in the tooth. I dig this sort of nostalgia and hope to find and original '30s Model that still has the original equipment in it so I can learn about put-putting in an original ride and repairing it. I don’t think I will ever have a truck like some of these guys, so I am going with my only strength, original equipment.

Re: GMC Owners Manual
I am desparatly searching for a 67 GMC owner's manual. I have a 66 GMC owner's manual but would dearly love a 67 to go with my truck.

Re: GMC Owners Manual
Wow amazing! I have two of the exact same owners manuals for mine. One is in better shape than yours Joe, the other is about the same but with holes punched in it so it can also be put in binder. Plus I have the same service manual, it too has holes in it for a binder.
I'd be willing to part with the extra owners manual with the holes in it to a good home. I also have several other publications I won't part with, but will make copies available to the forum if anybody likes. GMC truck unit overhaul manuals: X-6Y-05 Ignition distributors X-6M-01 Carburetors, Rochester models "B", "2G", "2GV", and "4G" includes governor info. - revised April 1970 X-6M-04 Carburetors, Rochester models M, MV, and 4MV - revised April 1970 X-7440 GMC Truck & Coach service Publication list - July 1974? X-6805 GMC Truck Wiring Diagrams All Models built After December 1, 1967 The wiring book can be copied, but everypage is a fold out and is too big for my home scanner so they'd have to be peiced together.

Re: GMC Owners Manual
Does the GMC Truck Service Manual differ much from the Chevy Truck Service Manual and Chevy Truck Chassis Overhaul Manual? I have a '71 Jimmy K/1500 4x4. I'd love a '71 GMC owners' manual for that. [I have the '71 Chevy O/M.] I have an original '67 Owners' Manual that was in the glovebox of my '67 K/10 Suburban when I bought it in 1993. I also have a '68 O/M reprint, that's not too bad compared to the original.
I also have original '67 and '68 service and overhaul manuals. My '71 Chevy service manual is a reprint. Major difference I've noticed is the quality of paper... original was printed on better paper. Also the photos are a lot less washed out in the original.
