VIN Decoding

I have a 67 K10 with a VIN of KF147J134165. i tried the vin decoder on the site, but i cannot find what the F means and what some of the other #'s mean. It currently has a 305 and a 4spd. the tranny, transfer case, and axles are stock but the 305 is not (DUH) Any help would be appreciated.

Re: VIN Decoding

check it again. The "F" is probably an "E".

Re: VIN Decoding

yep you are right, just the way it was stamped, it looked like an F. the only thing i found out about it that i didn't know was that it was built at Janesville. What state is that in, btw?

Re: VIN Decoding

the 305 was swapped in by a previous owner after he had the motor pulled out because he wanted it for the 305 car. what a loser. it was 327 btw, and i have no idea how many HP
