87 TBI fuel pump nightmare

the previous owner had the fuel tank switch go out and replaced with two toggle switches so who knows how many times it was turned on wrong. I replaced with a new switch. The problem is it was runnin fine then just quit. Its not gettin fire to the pumps, either side. I got a new relay, didnt realize i needed 2, but it didnt help at all. I can use a jumper wire and get each pump to work. I have one wire at the tank switch underneath that is hot. Cant find a fuse that is blown either. ANYBODY got any ideas.

Re: 87 TBI fuel pump nightmare

Which tank switch did you buy? Was it specifically for an 87?

Give us the wire colors at the switch and at the relays and tell us what voltage is on them when the truck is Key On Engine Off. Also, make sure you can catch when the ECM cycles the fuel pump and then it shuts off when you first turn on the key.
