Service Manuals
I have a 1969 CHEVY TRUCK CHASSIS SERVICE MANUAL, SERIES 10-60.
What other service manuals were produced? I am finding that the chassis manual covers large trucks as well, is there something specific to 1/2 and 3/4 tons? How useful are the assembly manuals?

Re: Service Manuals
Although the Assembly Manual is hard to find things in, there is a lot of information contained in the book. I think that it is the most useful manual to have.
You might consider an Overhaul Manual, also. Jim

Re: Service Manuals
Not to hijack this thread, but who is reprinting the overhaul manual? I've seen most vendors have the service manual and assembly manual, but I haven't seen the overhaul manual. I have even seen the non-truck overhaul manual reprinted and for sale on other sites.
I think the truck-specific overhaul manual would be helpful, and the service manual refrences it in several places.

Re: Service Manuals
So there wasn't a pickup specific service manual, just the one that covered all trucks, 1/2 ton to large trucks?

Re: Service Manuals
I have not seen them yet but I am getting three Chey shop manuals on Tuesday from a friend who's wife was givin a large box from an old dealer ship owner. I belive it is the 69-70-71 manuals that I am getting. I will post pics if I remember. Today I just got the 67-72 factory assembly manual from ECE so I can get all the hole layout locations for body trim for Low Buck so I can finish up the bed body work.
