84 Suburban Fuel Pump Question

I'm working on an 84 Suburban that originally had a 454. I noticed there are 3 hoses for the fuel pump. Is the 3rd hose a return line, and did the 84 'Burbs with a small block have that same set up? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: 84 Suburban Fuel Pump Question

The 3rd hose is a return line. I believe just about all the trucks after 71 or 72 had this due to emissions. I could be mistaken though.
