Brand new 1969 trucks

This is a load of brand new 1969 GMC's leaving the Fremont assembly plant in California. Both GMC and Chevrolet were built there.

Re: Brand new 1969 trucks

I love old pictures. That hauler looks unique and looks like it has an Oregon plate too. The trailer looks like its only got around 6 inches of ground clearance.

Anyone recognize their truck?

Back in the day most trucks were shipped w/o bumpers and the dealer put the rear bumper on with the dealership name on it. I don't know if it is done at all today.

Re: Brand new 1969 trucks

Did you see the cars in the parking lot? Looks like a Datsun roadster and Toyota setting there. I grew up in a GM town in the mid west and no one drove imports back then.
