70-81 vans. You might want to look in old motor homes too. Woody

Re: What year van for tilt column
Just look and make sure the key is on the dash, not the column.

72 - 81, and some 82's were the old style too.

Re: What year van for tilt column
I'll jack this thread since the following question could be beneficial to him too...
Do the van tilts use the same internals as the truck tilts, such as bearings signal switch, gear indicator, etc.??

Re: What year van for tilt column
Brak - basically yes. I have both -truck & van - and have found the only real difference is the length of the shaft. The van gear indicator lens has a different letter style from the original truck. The re-pop lenses are of the van style. I have not found a source for the original truck lens.

Re: What year van for tilt column
Not sure if this is a good techniques but I focused my junkyard search on chevy vans with round headlights. Sure enough, I found two last time I was at the yard.... When you pull them don't bother with the rubber piece bolted to the firewall, the bolts are hard to remove. I removed the two on the rag joint and two under the dash and it pulled right out in 10 minutes...
