Re: Euro Light Conversions? Anyone done it?

You should hook up with a board supporting vendor that actually has class and customer service, unlike LMC.You should check the review board for LMC horror stories.
One of the board vendors started a thread a while back about them and is selling them at a good price too boot. I just can't remember which vendor it was, hopefully someone will chime in.

Re: Euro Light Conversions? Anyone done it?

I have installed them in my 69 and LOVE them, they are so much brighter.
Just make sure to either get the harness with the relays that LMC offers, or do like I did and make your own. You will need this to get the lights to burn at there max output ( you can also melt the wiring harness if it is overloaded and the harness allows you to draw the current directly from the battery and not through the switch).

It is me that has them. They are high quality with glass lenses, and vented unlike some of the others out there and DOT legal for $99. I also have relay kits available starting at $26

I didn't get the relay harness but after reading this thread I'm going to make one for it. I didnt think I would need it. I have benn driving with it installed for almost a year now with no problems and they are definitly brighter then stock. I didn't notice the blue bulb when I ordered them so the only mod is to trim the head light cup to fit the lower bulb housing. Like this

Size: 69.5 KB

They are DOT approved and have glass lenses

They are out at the manufacturer for 4 weeks. The good news is when they come in, the clears are suppose to be coming with them. They will be $49 until we release our brand new store in about a month that will be 10X bigger and better than what we have now.

And my headlights are 100% complete with bulbs, seals, lockrings, etc

What's it's purpose? Is it like a DRL? Or turn signals?

Re: Euro Light Conversions? Anyone done it?

It is to make the housing blue or what ever color you put in it. I wasn't expecting it but since it is there I like to play around with it and turn them on when I go in parking lots. It is just for show. When the head lights are on you cant see them.

Re: Euro Light Conversions? Anyone done it?

I wonder why they call them Euro lights?
They are prohibited over here in Germany.
I like the way they look but read the line under my Avatar.

Re: Euro Light Conversions? Anyone done it?

I had some of those little led's in my 2000 gmc headlights that would flash when the truck was off for "alarm" notification, but htat 6 oclock orrientation is kinda funny, because my mom used to have a VW cabrio, and that position was used for the high beam bulb, small like that too. I never understood how such a small bulb could do that, reflection i guess, just mentioning......
