body work...for a newbie...

I am going to start getting the truck ready on the exterior and interior for paint. How hard is it for someone with no experience of bodywork to do it and do it good? I will not paint it myself, just don't think I could talk my wife into letting me use the garage for that. Let me kmow your thoughts...

Thumbs up Re: body work...for a newbie...

welcome to the board

SWEET TRUCK

we have a auto body/paint section..theres a ton of great members here that do this for a living..and hang out there very often.. giving free advice

replace as much as you can with new metal..try to use little to no body filler.

theres board members VENDORS here that sell new fenders and floor pan's, kick panel repair pieces, rockers... you wil need a welder

por-15 is great stuff for coating the metal with..

you will get it figured out..

let the advice begin

your pal mark
