Question Help with fuel lines

I have a 71 short wide Chevy that originally came with a 6 cylinder.
I put a small block 350 in it.
My question is The fuel line that runs from the fuel tank to the fuel pump, is there a differents in length between 6 cylinders
and V8's??????
The fuel line that is on it now stops on the back side of the motor mount. And that is alot of rubber line to run to the fuel pump.
Need some Help with this.
