1962? Chevy Flatbed - Parting out
I will be parting this truck out over the next couple of months. Don't really want to mess with shipping big parts, but the truck is near Cedar Falls Iowa, and I am in Des Moines. So, you can either meet me in CF, or i can bring stuff to Des moines and you can meet me here.
I'm fine with shipping all of the small stuff. the engine is the big inline 6. 292 i believe? has 99043 miles on it. It runs, but has sat for quite some time. Last time it was started was last summer and i believe it smoked at first, but was fine after the first 30 sec. i could get it running this weekend or next if needed. anyways, here it is. Please post here with your requests. whatever doesn't sell is goin' to the scrap yard. |

Re: 1962? Chevy Flatbed - Parting out
on that one, i'm gonna have to ask around. I'm not trying to get rich or anything like that, but i have seen factory shift knobs in worse shape go for over $150.
seems crazy to me, but, if that's what they are worth, i'd like to get more than the $5 that i'd normally let it go for. |

Re: 1962? Chevy Flatbed - Parting out
i will heading up there next weekend and will pull all of the parts people have requested. I'll take pics then, and send PM's to see who still wants the parts. I've had a couple people pay for a few items already, and i feel bad that i was not able to get them pulled as quickly as i had hoped. So, to prevent that from happening, i'll pull the good parts and post them here, with a price.

Re: 1962? Chevy Flatbed - Parting out
If you could get a good look at the two side peices between the grill and the fender as well as the top piece that runs above the grill. I might be able to convince the boss to buy those too.
