Heater A/C Switch

hey fellas, need some help putting in a new heater a/c switch (the one that adjusts the speed). do i need to take the whole unit out or can replace the switch with it in the truck. thanks.

You can replace the switch with the unit in place. Just look behind it and you'll see what you have to do, pretty straight forward.
