Wheels
Alright so here's my dilema. I want to run the 18 inch torque thrust 2's, and my truck is a 70 model with a 4/6 drop. I read on here that I would need to get the rims back spaced. I can't find anyone that makes the rims that I want with having them custom made. and how important is it that i have them back spaced.
Please assist I'm in the dark.

Back spacing is not an absolute so more info is required to make educated suggestions.
Some guys will use the 'standard' spacing offered by the manufacturer because it's typically cheaper. The standard back spacing may not be the best overall fit, but they will still fit & function properly. Other guys want to stuff certain size combos within a limited amount of space w/o rubbing @ all (or w/o rubbing much) on the inside or out. For these guys, back spacing is more critical & they have to pay more to get the fit needed (I would fall into this category). What sizes do you want to run? Which category do you fall within?

Same size @ all 4 corners? What about tires? Which of the 2 previously mentioned categories do you fall within?

Backspacing is the distance from the mounting surface of the wheel to the rear lip or back of the wheel (thus backspace). All wheels have backspace. As Scoti said backspace is either standard which is cheap or custom which is not cheap. My wheels are custom. This is also referred to as offset. Here's some good info on wheel sizing.

The wheels your after in an 18x9.5 would infact be a custom built wheel, not because of the backspacing but because of the size. Tourq Thrust IIs wheels in general are only "in stock" up to a 17" Check the link above that See Ten provided a search of that site might answer more of your questions.

Actually after looking at that site, I kinda thing that I'm would like to do 18x8 all the way around. And I would guess with rims and tires I am gonna be in the category of not going the cheap route.
