Does the 402 use oval or rectangular port heads?
Is there an easy way to tell if a 72 402 ci has oval or rectangle port heads? I want to get a carb and intake for Dad's truck to put on it this weekend, but I don't have time to get the stock intake off until then.
Did they only use one or the other, or both? Any obvious signs to look for, or casting numbers? Thanks!

Re: Does the 402 use oval or rectangular port heads?
The stock heads for the 402 were of the oval port design.
