Can anyone show off their fender flares?

I am going to put on extend-a-fenders onto my Sub to keep Johnny Law happy. I for the life of me, cannot find any pics of a 73-87 with extend-a-fender flares. I had cutout flares on an older truck, but these are only about 1.5" extend a fenders.

Re: Can anyone show off their fender flares?

Ok, here is a pic of what I ordered...

Now, should I paint the flares white to match the bottom or grey to match the middle? I am leaning towards painting them white. Opinions?

I concur with dubdeuce on both colors, I think it would look sweeet like that. It wouldn't throw either color off.

Re: Can anyone show off their fender flares?

I would paint them grey to match the middle. The majority of the flare will be in contact with the grey. White will stick out like a sore thumb and break the lines up way too much.

Here is a sub with the same flares. I actually really like them.

After much scrutiny, I decided to go with the metallic grey for the flares aka WA8798. I think you are right N2TRUX... I am still on the fence, but I think the final deciding factor was that the white would probably look pretty horrible when it's dirty and older, whereas the grey will not show dirt as much and look better further down the road.

Re: Can anyone show off their fender flares?

Definitely white flares. White will follow the flow with your lower panels and make for nice, clean lines.................

My wife has a white 03 Denali which has the factory ground effects, with flares built in. The truck is immaculate, but the inside of the flares look like crap because of the thousands of little rock chips.

On your truck it would be worse because of the height
of the truck puts the chipped up flares at eye level.

Re: Can anyone show off their fender flares?

I dropped them off at the body shop on Friday. I will post pics when I get them installed. I went ahead and test fit and notched them for the trim ahead of time. Bushwacker's instructions were to have the flares painted first??? I am not that brave.
