Lets see your under hood wiring...
I am working on an alternator conversion and in messing with the wires, I was thinking about cleaning up the wiring that is under the hood. It looks like the PO done some custom wiring and not that great I might say. So as I was pondering this, I thought people on here surely have done some wire cleanup. So lets see the results.

Here are some good underhood pics if you are looking for original wiring layout. It was not too hard to clean up the original (hacked) harness to look nice.

Re: Lets see your under hood wiring...
I took all of the wiring in my 84 and ran it along the frame up to the front of the motor (on both sides), so that there was very little showing. It comes out from the frame only when there is a connection at any certain point. My plans for the 68 will be along the same lines.

Re: Lets see your under hood wiring...
I'm partial to no wiring showing. I had to rewire the truck so this was a good time to hide the wiring in the frame or between the inner and outer fenders.
esll.
