Anyone has experience w/ Parking Brake Setup?
Hey guys,
Since I use my '70 C-10 (trailing arms) to put my boat in/out of the water, I find myself often at a 35degree incline w/ the weight of the truck & the boat on the transmission. I have all my parking brake cables, but I lack the retaining clips & the connector that connects the 2 cables in the back. 1. Does anyone know if the retaining cables from a newer model will work & if the local parts houses stock them? 2. Does anyone have a picture / dimensions of the clip that joins the cables together in back? I'm thinking I can take a piece of 1"x1" square tubing & make something work. Any overall parking brake pics would be most helpful. Thanks a 6-pack.
