Check it out.

Well this weekend I wanted to paint my wheels, while I was taking them off I notice I was leaking at one of the rear wheels.Off I go to the store, wheel cylinders, shoes etc.. Get there (Autozone) I forgot that the old cards don't work anymore, and was retuning a part the P/O bought that didn't fit 20.00 instore for that, and barely griped at all about the card Manager gave me a 20.00 gift card.
So all in all I spent a total of 70 and change, so the cash with the part I returned and the gift card well..I walked out spending 30 I was happy.

Re: Check it out.

Sorry abouts the brakes B , The truck does look good though. I,m glad you posted this because my P O was here this morning wanting to give or trade me a set of slots for my 71 and I told him I really wanted a set of the old style looking Cragars that were mags and those you have are close enough So if you could just tell me where you got em? Thanks, RH

Re: Check it out.

That sounds like me. I got a coupon for 25% off entire purchase at Checkers. I went a little more overboard, but saved $100. I walked out happy and sad!!

Rich,
they came w/the truck. They're American Racing Torq-thrusts I'd say these were bought in the early 80's late 70's they still make em. 15x10 all the way around.

Re: Check it out.

Brian, do those rear springs make alot of noise? Does the truck ride rough? Those springs don't look too safe.

Truck looks great though.

Re: Check it out.

If those springs are anything like mine, they don't make a noise and ride great. BCANINI wheels look much better and your truck does too. Sweet lookin ride.

Re: Check it out.

Nope, dont make any noise, rides just fine, probably would ride better w/ a ECE drop kit but hey I'll do that in time right now I'm just gonna drive it like I stole it. P/O lowered it the old school way many years ago.
