Nice sheet metal parts & good supplier!
I needed a rear cross sill for my 72 fleetside box, so after some consideration, I ordered from The Truck and Car Shop. They had a great price, which almost seemed too good to be true after seeing some of the other vendors' prices. I was a little leary, but now I am very impressed! It came yesterday and I installed it. It was heavy gage metal, fit well, was boxed very well, and came fast! AND it was the cheapest. Shipping was real fair also. The box was marked as Counterpart brand. Nice part!

Re: Nice sheet metal parts & good supplier!
All of the Truck and Car Shop's stuff is "Counterparts" brand. I bought a stepside tailgate off them last year brand new for $125 (swap meets rock!) and it fit excellent and the metal gauge was good. I even weighed it, I think it was 2 lbs lighter than a stock tailgate (I think it was something like 27lbs vs 25lbs or so.) While there I checked all of their parts. Everything appears to have decent bends and shapes, but the doors are still lacking in material thickness.
