Re: My blazer pics
More pics. Try to imagine the blaz a bright yellow(maybe next fall). I still have to add the new air ride management and finish some firewall work. Then lots or odds and ends...........jesse

Lookin' CLEAN!
What serpentine setup is that? I've never seen one with the A/C compressor on the passenger side like that. |

Re: My blazer pics
Nice ride.
What kind of drop does it have, and is that a vintage air setup or what?

Re: My blazer pics
serp setup is from gm performance(all new) you can get the same stuff from early to mid 90's camaro I think. Others will have way more info. the kit from gm ram me about 750.00$ all new and every nut and bolt to complete(reverse water pump, power steering pump, alt., air compressor, idler). Boatpuller, I love the A/C from vintage , It is above my expectations!!(yet pricey )
The tires are 245/40/20 front and 295/40/20 very pleased here also, next fronts might be 245/50/20. Just a little more sidewall, this is driven as much as possible |

Re: My blazer pics
Drop: all airride, four-link in the rear with Blackbirds rear disk conversion(highly recommend) standard bags and plates up front. The air bottle will be coming out of the rear and in goes the new airride electrics with a 5 gal. tank and two compressors with valves and pressure solenoids. I just dont trust the 10 pound bottle, no way to generate your own air if you have a problem.(tried to go simple and cheap, just dont trust it on a 5 hour drive to san diego )

Re: My blazer pics
Very nice Blazer, would you mind taking a closer pic of the roll pan? I'm curious how far the tank hangs below the rollpan. Thanks and the seats look great, do you mind me asking what it cost to get the rear recovered?

Re: My blazer pics
rollpan was on the blaz when i purchased it. the tank hangs down pretty far . I am still trying to decide to put a bumper back on or not. I need a trailer(hidden) hitch to tow my boat and I think the stock hitches will hang down way too far . I like the pan so will try to have a custom hitch built for it.
As far as the rear seat, I had the seat done and the carbon fiber looking side panels, along with the carpet glued to the mat over the dynamat at the same time. I am not sure about just the seat price, I do know that using GM material is more than just about anything else . But I wanted it to match the fronts...........jesse |

Re: My blazer pics
Nice setup. What type crate motor is that? How did you route the heater hose? I'm trying to work mine out. Does your water pump have two ports or one port? I'm adding a similiar serpentine belt to my 83.

Re: My blazer pics
Motor is a zz4, the water pump is a reverse rotation short for the serp setup. I believe it only has one port for the heater hose other heater hose is on the intake. Do a search for Gilbert cheverolet, they used to be named sallee chevy, very good info on the performance parts stuff.

Re: My blazer pics
Which hose did you use as a supply? Return?
Does the bracket to the passenger side head only use two bolts? |

Re: My blazer pics
Sweet looking blazer!! Good idea on the front tire meat. I was looking at the pix saying " that would look sweeter with more meat on the front wheels" lol

Re: My blazer pics
Malo- she is a $h!!tty champange color and a 20 footer at that , the paint is horrible but the body is rust free and I have dynamated the whole interior. she will be a rich bright yellow hopefully soon, just trying to get her just right before teardown for paint. Besides I need a little seat time, tired of just working on her .
