metal to wood bed floor

How do I go from steel to wood?

Hey everyone I'm thinking about replacing the bottom of my long wheel fleetside bed with wood since the origional metal has holes in it. I was just wondering if anyone out there has done or tried this before and if so what all am I going to need to do this? Also what difficulties can I expect in this change over?
