? on 4x4 floor tunnel covers
Besides having two holes in floor hump on a 4spd 4x4 is the location of the transfercase hole different that that on an auto? If so we need a 4x4 trans cover for T350 auto w/ NP205 conversion.

When I went from a 3-speed manual to a th350 I used the same hump in the cab. The hole lined up the same.
I hear the 4-speed NP205's came with a 205 handle that was curved away from the 4-speed shifter. Pitfalls? I did my swap in a fix-it shop with a lift and a good tranny jack. It still took three of us to wrestle it into place on to the back of the engine. We bolted the tranny, adapter, and x-fer together on the ground. Used an engine cherry picker to lift the assembly on to the tranny jack. Used lots of chains to keep it there. Then when in as good a place as we could get it with the jack the three of us fought it into place.
