Eh, if it's lowered and has some badass looks to it why not? As long as it can back up the looks with power it's all cool

Re: underbody neon...

Something I've always wanted to see, but never had a truck nice enough to try is to put a strip of LED's under the lip of the bed. I thought it would be a cool effect especially if you got LED's the same color as the truck. Make a kind of floating glow coming out of the back of the truck to match what's underneath.

Guy's, There's different strokes for different folks. Wouldn't the world be boring if everyone did everything the same way ?

Besides, The kids enjoy seeing all the vehicles cruisin by all lit up and that makes it worth the install. For THEM and myself.

Re: underbody neon...

hell...even the cops around here love my truck...I guess that's why they pull me over all the time (they love the interior, got to help on a 68 sting ray vette because of it). One of my friends in my car club said that if my truck ever got impounded,,.,.,.he'd use it for his cruiser because he's seen the raw power she pushes lol. should be completely done with the neons tonight...will post pics

In mine and AceX's defense, we didn't say anything negative, per say. We just chose to insufficiently contribute to this thread. it was not positive or negative

Re: underbody neon...

lol @ xtreme...I dont fret regardless of what you all think, it's my personal preference...some ppl like low riders, others like stuff that you need a ladder to get in. I figure that good ol saying always comes into play, "one mans trash is another man's treasure", when dealing with vehicles.

no harm taken or recieved...

Personally I would have make brackets to work with existing holes in the frame. Even if there weren't holes near by I would have made metal straps to go around the frame rail to provide a mounting solution.

Not even for the fact that the truck stays unmolested, but just for the fact that if those set of lights may fail or get broken and the replacement lights may need different holes, or you may just want to change the color but can't get the same brand or model.
