It will get the full LFD treatment and be a jaw dropper as well. I think a full custom rig will most always bring more money than a compairable restored stocker and they are so much more fun to drive

Mine probably isn't worth a hill of beans since I was told a few weeks ago that it has a truck frame under it. I didn't know it when I bought it but it doesn't worry me any. You cannot tell one place on the frame though were it was cut and all the mounts look factory. If someone had not told me I would have never know and he could be incorrect but he said he thought that it has wrecked at one point in time and the frame horns where bent and the PO put a truck frame under it. This being know I don't think anyone will care when and if I ever sell it. I guess we or I have blew this guys thread over from the original qusetion asked which was what are they worth. To each his own and do what you want with what you have it is yours and you are the one footing the bill for it. I don't think you will ever find a 2wd blazer that is just the same as another anyways. I like them all in any shape form or fashion.

I agree with all of you, but do not loose focus on high's question. Look for a real one. It will be worth it in the long run. It is okay to bag it just make sure you research everything before you do it. Have professionals do it. This has always been the right place for that. I will say though I agree with 70's feeling's on the c-notch. I just dropped 3500.00 on a clean 2wd drive frame for a customers project (so for all you guy's talking about 1000.00 C5's - You just won the jack pot!!!) If you ever need anything, advise, or just pick my brain - do not hesitate to contact me.

I dont plan on building a full custom maybe a nice cleaned up lowered driver.

What is involved in converting to two wheel drive a complete frame swap or just suspension swap on a 4wd frame.

Suspension only to convert, if you had a 2wd frame you'd have ...........

I just posted a good drivable, original 2 wheel Blazer and it has a few cool, tough to find options but it is a resto project. Comes with a nice clean Central Oregon tub, doors and gate and new body mounts. I am trying to load pics but I am having a few problems.
