Ramhorns bind on centerbolt covers

My ramhorn exhaust manifolds are binding on my valve covers. I've got the late model vortec roller motor. I suppose I could do headers, but what I'd really like are some later model manifolds with a lower profile. My current setup has the dump straight down. Anyone with suggestions? Will the gen III manifolds bolt to a '96 vortec head? I'll grab some pics tomorrow... Thanks in advance, Tony.

I ran into the same problem, just took the grinder and notched the manifold enough to clear.
