Original style 67-68 non-vented valve covers - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Anybody know where to find them? Perhaps from one our board vendors? Is there a downside to using them without ventilation holes? Mine is a '68 327ci.

They require the internal crankcase venting with the tube down the back of the motor.They are part of the vent system,pre-pvc valve.If you mount the early covers on a pvc-type motor,you will have seepage.
