Brake light problem?

I'm having a problem with my brake lights on 70 chevy c/10. If the right blinker is on the brake lights won't work. I've tried grounding the right blinker light but it still didn't fix it. When a trailer is hooked up the trailer brake lights don't work either?

Re: Brake light problem?

Turn signal switch. (as to trailer brake lights makes sure the trailer is grounded with a wire to truck.
