I got a buddy that called me and asked if I wanted to buy a brand new set of Early Classic Drop Spindles. He said that he his suburban is a 3/4 ton and that they are 1/2 ton spindles. I told him that the I thought the only thing you had to do was to change out the ball joints and they would work. He was adamant about that not working.

Am I wrong?

I'd say look to Early Classic's site for part numbers and compare 3/4 to 1/2 ton applications. Or get the phone number and give em a call.

You'll most likely have to change the lower a-arms as well. The hole where the BJ presses in is larger, making just swapping BJs impossible. Other than that, they should mount right up...
