Drop/lift
I have a friend who has a 93 1/2ton 2wd. we were tryin to decide if, to get rid of the rake the truck has stock, if we could put a 2 inch drop on the rear, then give it a 3 inch body lift or something? it seems kinda counter-intuitive to lower the rear then raise it back up again, but would it work? is there any way to combine lift kits to get rid of the rake? thanks

Combining only half of a body lift with any type suspension lift will throw the body lines off. If the truck has to much of a rake you have a couple of options. If the front of the truck is to your liking as far as height goes and you want the rear close to leve with the front, then you can do an axle flip kit to lower the rear. If you perform this I highly recommend a "c-notch" to be done as well. I assume this truck is a full size truck and not an s-10. You can also raise the front back up to get rid of the rake as well.
Hope this helps, Ryan
