Just had a big rain storm, and my sons glove box in his 69 stepper is full of water. How the heck did it get inthere?? Baffled...

Look for rusted area above it on the cowl area. If leaves sat there it is probably rusted through. Also check the gutter seal for cracking it will run down the pillar into the glove box.

Antena will cause problems sometimes also.

Also a leaky windshield frame (very common on these trucks) will run down the A-pillar and could easily end up in the glove box. The leak could be anywhere along the top or side of the windshield frame, but the top is the likely culprit because of the way these windshield frames are seamed up there.

QFT I am trying to find some patch pieces for cowl as I have this problem to. I never even looked down inside there when I inspected the truck before I bought it. Still its to bad to fix if you can find a good donor piece.

I've had this happen before, but IIRC the leak was actually along the lower edge of the windshield where the seam is, just above the glove box.
