adding a.c.

Help. I am putting in new motor very soon and adding a Vintage Air AC.

Does anyone have hints or better yet photos of what you have done to the firewall When adding V.A. They send a plastic cover to repace the heater under the hood and that I assume will not look the greatest. I wish I would have taken this step a when refinishing but the budget could not keep up with the ideas. At this point I dont want to "patch" it but would like an option other than a plastic cover.
Thanks for any and all pics and ideas.

Re: adding a.c.

Copy the plastic one in metal and have it chromed.Other than smoothing the firewall in that area and painting it body or firewall color I can't think of anything that would look right or better.
