Question anyone ever put 71 disc brakes on a 69 ?

i'm changing my 69 c10 from front drums to 71 power disc brakes.i changed the ball joints and tie rods to 71 so the spindles would fit.everything bolted right up and looks good.but the brake lines are not cooperating as i thought they should. i bought the front brake line kit for a 71 w/power discs but they don't seem to route like the drum lines . any ideas ?

thats because they dont, 71 trucks got hoses on front of cradle, not in the rear, you have to completely reroute all the lines, you need to go find a local 71 72 truck of any size and inspect and take notes.

good luck
