Steering Help Anyone

Wanted to cleanup the lower steering shaft and put a new seal in what GM calls the pot joint or coupler joint (opposite the rag joint). Question is will the cross pin the two bearings ride on press out of the shaft. I did put some pressure on it (will a press) but saw no movement. Don't want to mess it up. Also where can I find a new seal. Oh yeah it's a 69 1/2T 2wd. Thanks.

Re: Steering Help Anyone

The service manual says to use an arbor press to press the pin out and not to drive it out with a hammer. So, according to the manual the pin can be removed by pressing it out.
