Question on Matting engine & trans
Okay, sooooo exnay the matting problem...that I can take care of now, but now the problem is my new TCI flexplate doesn't fit my original torque converter as far as the bolt pattern goes. I'm guessing I finally screwed myself over, because I don't think I can put a torque converter in while the blazer is on the ground let alone what size to get and so on? Is the remedy taking the blazer to a shop, or is this something I should extend my engine startup date for?

Re: Question on Matting engine & trans
Do what ever is needed to get the engine and trani evenly spaced all the way around then push them together. Jack it . shove it what ever it takes.

Re: Question on Matting engine & trans
Like he said "What ever it takes"
Just make sure that the Guide Pins are lined up on each side of the trans. Oh yea and from experience double check and make sure your torque converter is in all the way, some times they come out a little when you seperate engine from trans. Then you start thinking you have trans problems that really sucks. GOOD LUCK ! |
