2wd lift kits??

I have a '71 3/4 ton 2wd that I would like to lift high enough to clear some 33 inch tires I acquired. I know I've seen some info on this subject before, but I was unable to locate it. My truck sets good now with the stock suspension and the 33 inch tires and wheels bolt on fine but they rub in the front when I try and turn. I have some brand new 1 ton front coil springs from another project that I haven't used still in the box, but I didn't know if they would lift it high enough and I only want to do this once. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The 2wd lift kits from the front of a 73+ will work..if you want to lift the rear too...if its a leaf spring truck add some blocks under it like you would on a 4wd.Dont know what to do to obtain that lift on a coil spring truck.You could also add a body lift but they make the truck look crappy,IMO.
Another route is to trim the bottom of the fenders off.Us 4wd owners have been doing that for years...
I dont know how much the one ton springs will lift but its probably not enough to clear 33s with no rubbing...

it does have the leafs on the rear

if it has leafs in the back then you can use the blocks, have new springs made, shorten the shackle,

or you could flip the shackle. If I remember right, on our trucks the leaf attaches above the shackle. If you unbolted the shackle and move it so the spring is under it, it would lift it too. 2 problems I see doing this. 1) It may not work without grinding, but I think if you swiched the shackles side to side, it would work. 2) Probably going to need some shims to correct the pinioin angle.

Lift the front end first and see if your truck sits level. My truck has only the overload springs in the rear. 33 inch tires, rancho front springs, ball joint spacers and a 3 inch body lift. clears 33 inch tires w/ 9.75 x 16.5 wheels.
