I love the original look. That's original to me.
I would drive it.

It may not have any true rust now, but with the way the exhaust is dumped it's just a matter of time...

It is nice looking truck though, fad-ish paint job or not.

I think this truck is like buying an expensive pair of new "worn out" jeans that are all faded and full of holes.

hey dudes my truck is patina. and i dont really mind. but fortunately i am an automotive painter.so it just comes natural that here soon my truck will be painted 3 stage yellow. one bad thing about having your truck nicely painted is your kinda scared to take it anywhere because some jerk will key it or you will get irritated with rock chips et.c etc. but not me since im a painter and all, chips and scratches dont even phase me

I like the look and the truck seems cool but here in oregon we dont have to pay for the older look it just happens faster here..

Re: cant find a truck with rust and bondo.. well paint it on

I like every thing about that truck except the paint. If I bought that one I would have to take it home and primer it before it saw the road.

I have spent 20 years trying to get rid of rust and now they tell me its in style! whats next, fake holes in rockers and cab corners?

Re: cant find a truck with rust and bondo.. well paint it on

to be honest and granted that yea i think its kinda dumb when they paint on the patina but why cant we all look at the work and time and also money that went into that truck and respect the hard work and effort that went into building it the way "he" wanted it, cause i mean i dont like street rods at all but i can respect the time/money and hard work that goes into building them even though the majority of the guys paid to have them built for them but that doesnt change the work and wrench time that went into building it

but i dont know maybe its just me
