$200. parts truck

I know pics are in order when one gets a parts vehicle, so I waited until I had some before I posted. This has the Olds 350 Rocket motor in it. It is a 1969, and should save me some cash on parts I will eventually need.Name: DSC00455.jpg

Re: $200. parts truck

I bought it for parts, but I may practice my welding and body work, I have never done body work before, but this looks like a good practice vehicle. I have not tried to get it running yet, but that sounds like a must before the engine comes out. I'm gonna wait for some cooler weather, I'll have to work on it outside, and it's just too hot now.

Re: $200. parts truck

Tell me more about the Olds motor and tranny.
CID?
Condition?
TH???

If you part the drivetrain and sacrifice it to the welding gods, I may be interested.

Re: $200. parts truck

The engine is a Olds 350 Rocket and the trans si aa th350, or so I was told. The grille is a mystery to me, it is dented and probably not usaable. I was told that the engine was running 2 years ago, my son got this truck from a guy who owed him some money. It used to be a 3 speed manual, clutch pedal is still hooked up. The drivers side window regulator broke so the PO used spray insulation to hold the glass up. I looks lowered in the front because the tires are flat. It doesn't look like it was wrecked bad, just a lot of drunk bumps.
