windshield replacement
my '71 C20 needs a windshield and I can't seem to find one anywhere. Can I use the one out of my '68 GMC K20 parts truck?

Re: windshield replacement
Short answer to your question is yes. However, I would suggest going with a local glass company and get a new one. If for some reason they can't get one for your truck you could always order one. I'm sure there are lots of places including some site vedors that sell them. I know a lot of guys don't like LMC but they do sell windshields. Like I said I would be willing to bet that others sell them to, I just don't know. Never had to get a new one for mine yet.

Re: windshield replacement
If your going to get a new windshield, spring for a new gasket. The old ones get stiff and won't seal as well...

Re: windshield replacement
i have heard that if you install one you shouldn`t use an `old` one as it has flexed and set to the last truck it was in and its common for them to break after they are installed in the `new` truck.
