99 and up Silverado seats, are they bolt and go?
I think I have pretty much decided on the Silverado seats. I like the integrated seat belts and fold down jumper seat/armrest/cupholder. Now all I need to know is if they just bolt and and go or is it some fabricating that needs to be done? I dont mind drilling holes, but I'm not trying to go too overboard here. Let me know, I a little

I have thought of using the same idea. I have measured the seat mounts etc in my father's 02 dually and other than some shimming, it looks like a go. I'll let you know when i find a seat and get it mounted. Jerry

I put the center seats inmy 63. They sat too high so I have to make some new mounts for them. I chose the center ones because the bottom folds up and I can store stuff under the seat with east access.

Poorboy, Those seats look great! What are they out of? The center seats from an SUV?

They are the center seats out of a 99 Tahoe. I wanted them because of the base that flips up.

Re: 99 and up Silverado seats, are they bolt and go?
I found some semi local seats out of a 04 Silverado 2500. Now I know the truck is bigger, but the seats should be the same in the 1500 and 2500 shouldnt they? Here are the seats:

Re: 99 and up Silverado seats, are they bolt and go?
I found these for 275 obo. Based on what I've seen, thats a pretty decent price. Maybe someone else can chime in on that. I just want to make sure I dont have to go through a bunch of foolishness to get them in, and of course I hope these work. It's about a 4 hour roundtrip to go get them.

Big City, post a pic after you get-m installed. I've also thought of using those same seats in my '64.

Re: 99 and up Silverado seats, are they bolt and go?
Consider reinforcing your floor if you are going to use seats with the integrated seat belts. I'm using a set of Silverado seats in my 69 K20 and you can see the reinforcements I did in my website listed in my sig. Those are comfy seats but in a 67-72 cab they do use up a lot of cab room.
