Need some guidance and pictures plz
I am starting do repair some body damage on the rear quarters around the tail lights on my 71 SBW fleet. Does ANYONE have any pics or can any one take some pics of the area just below the rear tail lights? The problem I am having is that the the rear part of the quarter seems "slanted" relative to the rear tail lamp. If you are looking down at the tail lamp, the sheet metal below slants in from the outside of the quarter to the innner part of the tailgate jamb. I was not able to snag any pics but if anyone has any pics of this general area of a fleet side (around the lower part of the tail lamps) I would greatly apprecate it... The is no impact from a bumper bending it in anywhere
What I suspect is that the rear bedside damage that I am currently fixing caused the bedside to elongated, since it collapsed in the rear crown and I feel that it pushed the outer part of the tail lamp surronds more towards the rear of the vehilce. The crapper of it is that both bedsides, left and right, are damaged in almost the same place, so I have no clue how I need to rebuild the metal around the tail lamp and the rear-most bedside crown Thanks for your help. C
