Anyone shaving Their Fire Wall? Ideas for Parking Brake Inside

Thought we could use a Parking Brake Ass. from a 73 up truck.

Weld it to the firewall (other ideas welcome) then the other good thing is that the brake pedal is designed so the the cable goes through the floor.

Its my major drawback right now so as soon as I figure this out . I can get ready to pack up the welder and shoot some primer.

How do the 71/72's mount? How much difference is there between 72's & 73 up set-up? I've got a 72 unit for my 67, but have been considering going w/a floor mounted unit for more flexibility w/mounting options.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
