1969/1970 C20 panel truck?
Does anyone know about how many of these beasts were made in the model
year 1969 and 1970? I met an elderly gentleman who has one which he has owned for several years and wants to sell it. Thanks for any info. Don |

1970 was the last year of the panel of our style trucks. Not sure how many C20s there were though.

I have a 68 panel that i'm redoing right now I was told that there were only 7,400 made so I jumped on it. how many of the 67--70 do you ever see on the street.

Re: 1969/1970 C20 panel truck?
Actually, there were 6500 panels made in 68. that's all 1/2 tons, 3/4 tons, C series, and k series models combined.
only seen one up here in these parts, had more bondo than metal (not kidding either, the left rear wheel opening was bondo up to 3 inches from the window) The crack head still wanted 5K for it. Sad thing was, it sold in 5 weeks. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 09-02-2007 at 10:18 PM. |

Guys I want to thank you for the info. Longhorn man thanks for the number
breakdown on these trucks. I have a project that I'm working on now but I think I will buy this rig and store it until I get the time to redo it. Its an original truck with a pretty nice body. |

That in itself makes it rare in Ohio....that old and a nice body.
Give us some pics when you pik it up. I love these old panels.
